At the core of your care is an in-depth initial visit, where I will create a customized treatment plan and provide guidance on the recommended follow-up care.
Types of Therapy Offered
Individual Therapy
At its core, individual therapy is about creating a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported — while also being gently challenged to grow.
Individual therapy is a space to slow down, reflect, and better understand yourself — with the support of someone fully in your corner. Whether you’re navigating a specific challenge or simply feeling that something isn’t quite working the way it used to, therapy can offer both clarity and meaningful change.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults, tailoring each session to the unique needs, experiences, and goals of the individual. While every person’s story is different, many clients come in seeking support with anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity exploration, or feeling stuck in patterns they’re ready to shift. My approach is collaborative, warm, and grounded. I draw from a range of modalities — including talk therapy, creative approaches, mindfulness, and EMDR — to meet you where you are and support you in a way that feels both effective and sustainable. Together, we work to build insight, strengthen coping tools, and create lasting change.
For children and adolescents, therapy often includes collaboration with parents or caregivers to ensure support extends beyond the therapy room. For adults, sessions offer a space to explore both current stressors and deeper patterns, with a focus on growth, resilience, and feeling more aligned in your day-to-day life.
Who I Work With
Children
My work with children is rooted in collaboration with both the child and their family. I focus on creating a supportive, engaging environment where children feel safe to express themselves, while also helping parents and caregivers build tools to better support their child. Together, we work to strengthen communication, navigate behavioral or emotional challenges, and create a more connected family dynamic.
Adolescents
Adolescence can be a time of profound change and self-discovery. In my work with teens, I often support clients navigating friendships, family dynamics, identity development, and both internal and external stressors. I aim to provide a space where they feel understood and grounded, while also incorporating parents or caregivers when it’s helpful and appropriate.
Young Adults
Young adulthood often comes with significant transitions — from college experiences to early career decisions, evolving relationships, and growing independence. I support clients as they navigate questions around identity, direction, financial and emotional independence, and the complexities of building a life that feels aligned and fulfilling.
Adults
In working with adults, my focus is on supporting meaningful growth and helping clients move toward a more grounded, empowered version of themselves. This may include addressing patterns of negative self-talk, developing practical tools to manage stress and anxiety, and working through challenges related to relationships, career, and self-understanding.
Other Therapy Modalities
Family Therapy
Family therapy offers a supportive space for families to come together, be heard, and work through challenges as a unit. My sessions often include parents and siblings, with a focus on creating a neutral, balanced environment where each family member feels understood and valued. Together, we explore family dynamics, roles, and patterns of communication to build greater insight and connection. I guide families in developing practical strategies and tools that can be carried into everyday life, helping to strengthen relationships, improve communication, and create a more cohesive and supportive home environment.
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy provides a space for partners to slow down, reconnect, and better understand one another. Whether you’re navigating ongoing conflict, communication challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling disconnected, I work with both partners to create a supportive and balanced environment where each person feels heard. Together, we explore patterns within the relationship, deepen insight into each partner’s needs and experiences, and build more effective ways of communicating and relating. My goal is to help couples strengthen their connection, navigate challenges with greater clarity, and create a more secure and fulfilling partnership.
Group Therapy
Group therapy offers a unique opportunity to connect with others who may be navigating similar challenges, creating a sense of shared understanding and support. In a safe and thoughtfully facilitated space, members are invited to explore their experiences, build insight, and learn from one another. I guide the group to foster open, respectful communication while helping individuals develop greater self-awareness, interpersonal skills, and emotional resilience. Group therapy can be especially powerful in reducing feelings of isolation and providing real-time opportunities to practice new ways of relating in a supportive environment.
"I brought my daughter to see Jen after finding out she was being bullied at school. My daughter was extremely resistant- she reported staying silent during the 1st 3 sessions! Jen was so patient and kind. By the fourth session my daughter was hooked. She worked with Jen on and off for 3 years. Jen not only supported my daughter, but was an invaluable support to our entire family."
