About Jen Kind-Rubin
I am a licensed and board-certified psychotherapist practicing in New York City and Brooklyn. I take an integrative, client-centered approach to therapy, drawing from verbal psychotherapy, creative arts therapy, EMDR, mindfulness, and other evidence-based modalities. Each therapeutic experience is thoughtfully tailored to meet the unique needs of the individual.
I believe that every person holds an innate capacity for resilience and growth. At times, however, we all benefit from additional support to reconnect with that inner strength. My role is to provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, process both past and present challenges, and feel empowered to move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
I have experience working with a diverse range of clients across the lifespan—from children to adults—supporting individuals navigating depression, trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Through a strong and secure therapeutic relationship, I incorporate creative, innovative, and “outside-the-box” approaches to help clients better understand themselves and navigate all aspects of their lives.
